Hello, I’m Katie Burt

I am a qualified Specialist Dyslexia Teacher and Assessor.  I have worked in education for approximately 14 years and Special Educational Needs is a particular interest of mine. I have a vast amount of both personal and professional experience and knowledge of dyslexia, as well as autism, ADHD, PDA and other additional needs.

Qualifications:

I have a Bachelor of Science degree (Mathematical Thinking in Schools) and I am a qualified primary school teacher. I am also a qualified dyslexia teacher and assessor (level 5 and 7 SpLD) with a current APC and a member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA).

I have an up to date DBS check, Level 3 first aid and up to date safeguarding training.

I hold professional indemnity insurance and I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
